Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Reports To: Group Chief Executive Officer

We are looking for a seasoned, data-driven Chief Operating Officer to take full ownership of our end-to-end global operations.

This is not purely a strategy role; it demands deep functional expertise in technology distribution. You will be responsible for harmonizing our global efficient operations while ensuring each local country agility. You will lead the critical engine room of the business—Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory & Demand Planning, and Vendor Management—ensuring that the right technology reaches the right destination faster and more profitably than our competitors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Operational Strategy & Integration - Design and execute a unified global operating model that standardizes processes, KPIs, and systems across all regions while accommodating local legal and market nuances.

- Lead the deployment of a common ERP/WMS infrastructure globally to eliminate silos and provide real-time visibility on inventory and financial performance.
- Continuously re-engineer the global supply chain network (hub-and-spoke vs. direct ship) to optimize cost-to-serve and delivery speed.

- Supply Chain, Logistics & Inventory Optimization - Own the global P&L; for freight, warehousing, and inventory holding costs.

- Transform global demand planning using predictive analytics to balance stock availability against the risk of aging inventory in a fast-depreciating tech market.
- Negotiate strategic global contracts with 3PL partners, freight forwarders, and real estate providers to leverage group-scale efficiencies.
- Mitigate supply chain risks by building resilience against geopolitical disruption, component shortages, and freight market volatility.





- Commercial & Vendor Operations - Partner with the Chief Commercial Officer to standardize vendor onboarding, rebate management, and program compliance across multi-country landscapes.

- Ensure seamless execution of complex channel programs, including deal registration, bid management, and configuration-to-order services.
- Lead the integration of subscription and XaaS billing models into the core operational framework, moving beyond traditional box-shifting.

- Automation, AI & Process Excellence - Champion the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI to automate low-touch order processing, pricing updates, and accounts reconciliation. - Drive a culture of Lean Six Sigma, delivering measurable efficiency ratios (OpEx to Gross Margin) year-over-year. - Oversee global quality, compliance, ESG, and trade compliance (import/export) protocols across all jurisdictions.

- Leadership & Transformation - Lead a multi-cultural, senior operational team (Regional VPs of Operations, Global Supply Chain Head, Director of Process Excellence).

- Act as a bridge between the corporate center and country managers, resolving the inevitable tension between global standardization and local entrepreneurial speed.
- Spearhead post-merger integration of acquired distribution businesses, consolidating back-offices without losing revenue synergy.
- A proven track record of managing multi-country,



multi-currency P&Ls; with high SKU complexity and low-margin, high-volume dynamics. - Deep operational intimacy with ERP systems.

Specific experience managing inventory risk—balancing vendor "sell-in" targets with actual channel "sell-out" demand to avoid stock obsolescence.

Demonstrated success in integrating offshore/automated shared service centers for finance and operations.

Personal Attributes: - Execution Bias: A "floor-walker" mentality; you are as comfortable in a warehouse reviewing pick-pack rates as you are in the boardroom presenting to the PE sponsor or public market board.

- Analytical Rigor: You don’t just look at top-line revenue; you instinctively dissect margin waterfalls, cash-to-cash cycles, and negative working capital levers.
- Resilience: Accustomed to 24/7 global order books and the operational intensity of quarter-end closes. - Influence: Able to lead through influence in a matrixed structure where regional leaders may have dotted-line reporting.
