How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? : Our organization is accelerating its digital transformation to deliver an integrated, global digital system for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) sector. A critical part of this journey involves leveraging the AVEVA engineering design suite to its fullest potential.
1. Hands-on Feature Development
- Act as the primary technical solution lead and developer for current enhancement and extending the AVEVA suite of products using AVEVA SDKs, C#,.NET, and PML.
- Design, write, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code to create new features that directly support complex EPC workflows and provide UAT support to Business teams.
- Work for the integration with third party products like Aspen Tech, SAP and develop integration touch points.
- Ensure all custom development aligns with the overarching architecture, security protocols, and software factory standards.
2. Troubleshooting and Code Maintenance
- Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues within both existing and newly developed AVEVA SDK code.
- Perform root cause analysis on technical incidents related to Aveva Custom components and implement sustainable, long-term fixes to ensure operational stability.
- Conduct custom or Aveva SDK and component code reviews, optimize system performance, and establish technical best practices for AVEVA customizations.
3. Product Collaboration & Solution Design
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Product Experts to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
- Provide technical support in technical analysis related to Data migration, scripting and automations working closely with Product Managers and Product Experts
- Actively participate in agile development cycles and advise the Product Manager on technical feasibility and effort estimations.
4. EPC Industry Alignment
- Leverage a strong understanding of the EPC industry to design solutions that accurately reflect the realities of engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
- Ensure that the features developed enhance the "Digital Thread," seamlessly connecting engineering data across the asset lifecycle.
__ : Are you a MATCH? : - Technical Expertise :Extensive hands-on development experience specifically tailored to the AVEVA suite (e.g., Aveva Unified engineering, Aveva AIM, etc.) using AVEVA SDKs,.NET, C#, and PML.
- EPC Industry Knowledge :Deep understanding of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) industry, including its specific data models, workflows, and asset lifecycles.
- Troubleshooting Prowess :Proven track record of successfully debugging, reverse-engineering, and maintaining complex custom-developed code within enterprise engineering systems.
- Product Mindset :Strong ability to think in terms of scalable solutions and overarching products; experience working collaboratively alongside Product Managers in an Agile environment.
- Technical Leadership :Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to lead code quality initiatives, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between business needs and deep technical execution.
- Experience Level :7+ years of hands-on software engineering and development experience within the plant design or EPC software ecosystem.
- Nice to have knowledge :end-to-end integration to other EPC tools such as Tekla, Solidworks, Aspen Tech
