Role Description The Automation Sales and Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi. The individual in this role will identify and engage potential clients, present automation solutions, prepare proposals, and support negotiations to close sales. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting customer sites, understanding technical requirements, coordinating with internal engineering teams, and ensuring timely installation, commissioning, and service of automation equipment. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing after-sales support, maintaining service records, and building long-term relationships with clients.



The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve offerings, gather market feedback, and contribute to achieving sales and service targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge of industrial automation systems, control panels, PLCs, drives, and instrumentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in sales and customer relationship management, including lead generation, solution presentation, and negotiation.
- Candidates should possess abilities in on-site service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of automation and control systems.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, documentation, and coordination skills to work with clients and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in automation sales or service, particularly in industrial or manufacturing environments, will be an advantage.
- Ability to travel to customer sites in and around Delhi, manage time independently, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Familiarity with safety standards, basic project management practices, and MS Office tools is beneficial.
