Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic marketing and business development professional to drive our institutional sales initiatives and strengthen relationships with educational institutions across the Panchkula-Zirakpur-Dara Bassi-Himachal region.

Please Note: This position requires working Tuesday to Sunday (10 AM - 7 PM) with Monday as the weekly off. This schedule is non-negotiable due to retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Sales & Business Development :

- Respond to inquiries and RFQs from educational institutions
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with schools and educational institutions
- Identify and pursue new institutional clients through proactive outreach
- Coordinate with schools for uniform specifications, book lists, and stationery requirements
- Liaise with publishers and suppliers for textbooks and educational materials
- Organize and process bulk orders for uniforms, books, and school supplies
- Prepare professional proposals, quotations, and presentations for institutional procurement processes
- Represent the company at school vendor meets, empanelment processes, and educational events
- Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities
- Ensure timely fulfillment of institutional orders and adherence to quality standards
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for institutional sales and compliance
- Track and report on sales pipeline, conversion rates, and market trends
- Coordinate between schools and production/supply teams for customized requirements
- Handle post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales, institutional sales, or marketing roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build lasting relationships
- Proven ability to manage institutional client relationships and drive sales
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills




- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel within Panchkula-Zirakpur-Dara Bassi-Himachal region for client visits
- Access to reliable transportation for local client visits

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience in institutional sales or B2B marketing (education sector preferred)
- Knowledge of têxtile/garment/uniform industry and/or educational supplies sector (textbooks, stationery, school materials)
- Experience working with publishers, book distributors, or educational material suppliers
- Understanding of education sector procurement processes and tendering
- Experience in handling RFQs, tender documentation, and government procurement
- Familiarity with Odoo or similar CRM/ERP systems
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Understanding of school academic calendars and procurement cycles

Work Schedule (Non-Negotiable)

- 6 days per week (Tuesday to Sunday) - FIXED SCHEDULE :

- 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (9 hours includes lunch break)

- Monday off (weekly off is fixed on Monday)

- Flexibility for client meetings outside regular hours when required
