Our reputed MNC Client is hiring for CAD Automation Engineer role:

Location: Pune

Work Mode: WFO

Shift: General

NOTE: It is a 1 year of contractual role & 3rd party payroll which is extendable on valuable performance.

JOB Summary:

The CAD Automation Engineer will contribute to the standardization, and automation of 3D mechanical models and CAD workflows. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional mechanical design and advanced design automation by programming tailored iLogic rules, managing product configurators, and delivering optimized manufacturing packages

Key Responsibilities:

Design Automation & iLogic Development

- Create high-fidelity 3D models and robust 2D technical drawings for manufacturing, including parts, large assemblies, and general arrangements.
- Program and deploy complex iLogic rules and VB.NET scripts within Autodesk Inventor to automate repetitive design processes, features, and assembly generation.




- Build and maintain intelligent CAD masters, parameter-driven templates, and full product configurators (Configure-to-Order / Engineer-to-Order workflows).
- Develop customized user interfaces (Forms) within Inventor to streamline user input and rule execution for the wider engineering team
- Automate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) extraction and streamline data migration paths into corporate ERP systems.
- Provide technical support and document standardization protocols for automated modelling workflows.

What we look for:

- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech- Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical / HVAC equipment design as a product/automation engineer.
