The Job

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join its Data & AI platform team. This role focuses on building scalable cloud-native applications, ensuring platform reliability, and contributing to the development of modern data-driven solutions. The successful candidate will work in an Agile workplace and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain high-quality cloud services.

Your Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and cloud-native solutions.
- Build and enhance APIs and data services using modern Python technologies.
- Ensure code quality, security, performance, and maintainability across platform components.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues,



and improve system reliability.
- Implement automated testing, observability, and DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholder teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.
- Maintain architectural consistency and technical standards across repositories and products.

Your Profile

- 6-8 years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Python 3.10+, Flask, GraphQL, and backend application development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and database design.
- Strong AWS experience, including Lambda, SQS, and EventBridge.
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Linux, Git, GitLab, GitOps, and CI/CD.
- Experience with automated testing, code quality tools, and observability practices.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred

- Experience with Clean Architecture principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Candidates with 30 days or less notice period
