VIBGYOR Rise & Roos, Fursungi, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Special Education professional to manage Special Educational Needs (SEN) services, support inclusive learning, and ensure compliance with applicable CBSE guidelines and documentation requirements.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's. and/or Master's Degree in Special Education (or relevant education)

Key Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a CBSE school is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of CBSE norms and documentation for students with special educational needs.
- In-depth understanding of CBSE Board examination rules, examination concessions and accommodations.
- Experience in Individualised Education Programmes (IEPs), student assessments and remedial interventions.
- Excellent communication, coordination, parent counselling and team management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage special education services and support students with Special Educational Needs.
- Handle referrals, SEN admissions, classroom observations and informal assessments.
- Develop, implement and review Individualised Education Programmes (IEPs) for identified students.
- Prepare remedial worksheets, teaching aids,



progress reports and assessment records.
- Monitor students academic and behavioural progress in coordination with teachers and parents.
- Guide parents and teachers regarding appropriate examination concessions and accommodations as per applicable CBSE guidelines.
- Manage learning disability screening and assessments, including BCSLD and DTLD, wherever applicable.
- Train teachers and resource staff in screening procedures, learning support strategies and SEN documentation.
- Coordinate with shadow teachers, visiting professionals and external therapists as required.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for students, parents and school staff.
- Provide vocational guidance to students for subject selection in the secondary grades.
- Ensure accurate SEN records and timely completion of relevant documentation.
- Support inclusive education practices and contribute to the overall academic and developmental progress of students.
