Role & responsibilities

- Conduct risk-based audits of Liabilities branches, liabilities, assets, cash management, and customer service processes.
- Review compliance with RBI guidelines, internal policies, SOPs, KYC/AML requirements, and regulatory norms.
- Verify operational controls, account opening processes, transaction monitoring, cash retention limits, and documentation standards.
- Identify control weaknesses, audit observations, and recommend corrective actions for process improvement.
- Track closure of audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare audit reports, maintain working papers, and present findings to management.

Preferred candidate profile

- experience in Internal Audit, Branch Audit, Operations Audit, or Banking Operations.
- Solid understanding of Branch Banking, Deposits, Assets, KYC/AML, Regulatory Compliance, and Operational Risk.
- Knowledge of RBI regulations, internal controls, fraud prevention, and audit methodologies.
- Good analytical, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
