• Role Description Gamechange Energy is hiring a Manager to own fastener supply (SAE, ASME, ISO and IS grades) and sheet metal stamping sourcing, leading a team of nine. The Manager owns the sourcing, manufacturing quality and on-time delivery of SAE, ASME, ISO and IS grade fasteners (zinc flake coated, hot-dip galvanised and stainless steel) and of sheet metal stamped components for Gamechange Energy. The role builds and audits a dependable supplier base, protects product quality through QMS discipline, and leads a nine-member team across two product streams.

Key Responsibilities
Fasteners (SAE, ASME, ISO, IS grades)
• Manage manufacturing and supply of zinc flake coated, hot-dip galvanised (HDG) and stainless-steel fasteners to customer drawings and standards.
• Ensure conformance to grade, mechanical property, dimensional, coating thickness and corrosion-resistance requirements for each standard.
• Review technical specifications, drawings and test certificates; approve first article and PPAP-type documentation.
• Plan capacity, lead times and costs with suppliers; resolve delivery, quality and pricing issues. Sheet metal stamping
• Oversee sourcing and development of stamped components: tooling, die approval,



process capability and part quality.
• Review die design, press selection, material specifications and process parameters with stamping vendors.
• Drive cost, yield and scrap reduction, and root-cause analysis for stamping defects. Quality and supplier management
• Plan and conduct supplier audits (system, process and product) and track corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Maintain and improve the QMS (ISO 9001 or equivalent), including control plans, inspection plans and documentation.
• Apply quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Pareto, 5 Why, fishbone) to prevent and resolve defects.
• Handle customer complaints and non-conformances, and report supplier performance KPIs (PPM, OTIF, rejection rate). Team leadership
• Lead, coach and appraise 7 team members on fastener suppliers and 2 on sheet metal stamping.
• Set explicit targets, allocate suppliers and projects, and review progress regularly.
• Build technical capability in the team through training on standards, inspection methods and audit practice.
• Report performance, risks and improvement plans to senior management.

Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 8+ years of industrial experience in fastener manufacturing, sourcing or quality, with relevant sheet metal stamping experience, including robotic welding.
• Hands-on experience with SAE, ASME, ISO and IS fastener standards and with zinc flake, HDG and stainless-steel finishes.
• Proven experience conducting supplier audits and managing a technical team.
• Hands-on robotic welding experience on stamped and fabricated components (required).
• ASNT Level II NDT certification (required). Preferred
• Lead auditor certification (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Experience in the energy, infrastructure or automotive sectors.
