HSE Specialist (2 Positions) – Chennai | South India Branch Himaya Prevention Pvt. Ltd. is expanding to South India Our mission is simple: “We make workplace safer.” We’re launching our new Chennai branch and are looking for 2 experienced HSE Specialists to join its founding team.

Location:
Teynampet, Anna Salai, Chennai (office-based)
• Travel: Client site visits across South India, starting at about 1–2 trips a month and rising to as many as 4 a month as the branch grows
• Openings: 2

About the Role
We’re filling two positions, each with its own focus. Both specialists will work as one team and support each other where needed. ? Focus Area 1: Training, Assessments & Inspections
• Plan and deliver HSE trainings for industrial and corporate clients
• Conduct risk assessments, HIRA/JSA and workplace safety assessments
• Carry out site safety inspections and report findings with practical recommendations
• Support safety awareness campaigns and culture-building programs ? Focus Area 2: Audits, Investigations, Consultation & Documentation
• Conduct HSE, statutory compliance and system audits (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001)
• Lead incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis and CAPA
• Advise clients on HSE compliance and continual improvement
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation: policies, procedures, manuals, reports and compliance records ? Common Responsibilities
• Support management with costing and estimations for jobs at customer sites




• Prepare and submit timely client and internal reports
• Travel to client sites across South India as projects require
• Help build the branch’s client base and service delivery in the region ✅ Who We’re Looking For
• ? Engineering or Science graduate
• ? PDIS / ADIS / NEBOSH (or another recognised safety qualification)
• ⏳ Minimum 5 years of experience after your safety qualification
• ? Relevant HSE experience in consulting, industrial, manufacturing or construction
• ?️ Fluent English is mandatory, plus at least one South Indian language: Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada or Telugu
• ? Willing to travel across South India (about 1–4 trips a month)
• ? Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• ? Comfortable with basic costing, estimation and reporting ? Why Join Us?
