What You'll Do
• Own internal tools and integrations end-to-end: scoping, design, build, deployment, and production support.
• Build AI/LLM-powered features into our products and workflows, taking them from prototype to reliable production.
• Build integrations with data warehouses, BI tools, and third-party MCP servers with clean, well-documented interfaces.
• Write clear design docs and RFCs before building, and keep documentation current.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design discussions while raising the team's bar on quality and testing.
• Make technical decisions independently and own their outcomes. Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid Python or Java experience building and shipping production services.
• Strong SQL skills (complex queries, data modeling, and performance tuning).




• Hands-on cloud experience (Azure preferred; GCP or AWS acceptable).
• Hands-on Databricks experience (Spark, Delta Lake, and building production jobs or notebooks).
• Strong technical writing skills (design docs, RFCs, and documentation).
• Proven track record of hands-on project ownership from concept to production.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience shipping LLM features in production (Azure OpenAI or similar, RAG, prompt design, evaluation).
• Experience integrating with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), or MCP servers.
• Familiarity with Azure services (Functions, App Service, AKS, or Azure SQL).
• Experience with containers and CI/CD (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
• Startup experience or background working in small, high-ownership teams. The details
