Role Description The Placement Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating campus placement activities, building strong relationships with educational institutions and recruiting partners, and supporting learners in securing suitable employment opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing placement drives, conducting employer outreach, maintaining placement records, and aligning training programs with industry requirements. The role also involves providing career counseling, conducting pre-placement training sessions, preparing learners for interviews, and tracking placement outcomes to improve processes. This is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Coimbatore Area, requiring regular coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.



Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in campus placement coordination and employer relationship management, including organizing recruitment events and drives.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present, negotiate, and interact effectively with students, faculty, and hiring partners.
• Background in career counseling and learner guidance, with skills in assessing aptitude, recommending career paths, and providing interview coaching.
• Experience in training and education-related activities, such as delivering soft skills sessions, resume workshops, and employability-focused programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced qualifications in counseling or HR are an advantage.
• Knowledge of current industry hiring trends, entry-level job markets, and employer expectations, especially in the IT and software domains.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and proficiency in using spreadsheets, CRM tools, or placement management systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, handle multiple initiatives, and maintain a learner-centric and inclusive approach.
