Role Description The Logistics Manager role at YOKOHAMA INDIA is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation planning, warehousing coordination, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. The Logistics Manager will monitor inventory levels, manage inbound and outbound shipments, and work closely with suppliers, manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams to maintain smooth supply chain flows. Responsibilities include optimizing logistics processes, tracking KPIs, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.



The role also requires preparing reports, managing logistics partners, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and customer satisfaction. Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management to oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Proficiency in Inventory Management to maintain optimal stock levels, track movements, and support demand planning.
• Experience in Procurement to coordinate with suppliers, manage orders, and ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
• Customer Service skills to address delivery-related queries, manage expectations, and support internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze data, use ERP or logistics management systems, and optimize processes for cost and efficiency.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field; prior experience in automotive or manufacturing logistics is an advantage.
