Role Description The Biodiesel Chemist role is a full-time, in office position based in Jaipur.

The Biodiesel

Chemist will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and scaling biodiesel formulations, including conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing feedstock properties, and monitoring reaction parameters. Daily tasks include performing chemical analyses, maintaining accurate records of test results, preparing technical reports, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations. The role involves collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot process issues, improve yields and product quality, and support pilot and commercial-scale operations.

The Biodiesel

Chemist will also contribute to research initiatives, evaluate new raw materials, and assist in developing innovative,



cost-effective biodiesel solutions aligned with the company’s technology goals.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in chemistry or chemical engineering, with practical experience in organic chemistry, reaction kinetics, and analytical techniques related to biodiesel or fuels.
- Hands-on skills in laboratory work, including sample preparation, titration, chromatography, spectroscopic analysis, and quality control testing of biodiesel and feedstocks.
- Knowledge of biodiesel production processes (e.g., transesterification), process optimization, and familiarity with relevant standards and regulatory requirements for fuel quality and safety.
- Ability to document experimental procedures, interpret data, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Competence in using laboratory instruments, maintaining equipment, following safety protocols, and implementing good laboratory practices.
- Problem-solving skills for process troubleshooting, continuous improvement initiatives, and development of cost-effective, innovative chemical solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline; prior experience in biodiesel, petrochemicals, or industrial chemicals is an advantage.
- Capacity to work collaboratively on-site in Jaipur, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving technological and industry requirements.
