Role Description This is a full time, in office Chartered Accountant position located in Surat. The role involves managing audits, statutory and tax compliances, and preparation and review of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities include handling direct and indirect tax matters, advising on accounting and financial issues, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.

The Chartered

Accountant will prepare reports, perform reconciliations, and analyze financial data to support decision-making and risk management. The role also includes regular interaction with clients,



coordinating with internal teams, and contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the firm.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), with valid membership in the relevant professional body.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and audit procedures, including preparation and review of financial statements.
- Experience in direct and indirect taxation, including tax planning, tax return preparation, and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools, with the ability to manage data, perform reconciliations, and generate accurate reports.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a structured, deadline-driven environment, with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Prior experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm or professional services environment is preferred.
