Role Description The Web Designer role at Blake Atlantic is a part-time, remote position focused on designing and enhancing web experiences for the company and its portfolio brands. On a day-to-day basis, the Web Designer will create and refine website layouts, user interfaces, and visual assets that align with brand guidelines and business objectives.

Responsibilities include translating business and marketing requirements into intuitive web designs, collaborating with content and development teams, and ensuring consistent visual identity across digital properties.

implement responsive layouts for multiple devices, and provide ongoing updates to improve user engagement and performance. The role also involves preparing design files and prototypes, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of quality and brand compliance.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design to create modern, user-centered interfaces across devices.
- Proficiency in Graphic Design and working with Graphics for web, including icons, banners, and other visual assets.
- Experience with Front-End Development (e.g., HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with developers and implement design concepts.
- Ability to use industry-standard design tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) for wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Understanding of usability, accessibility, and UX best practices in web design.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects in a part time remote setting, and meet deadlines independently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment.
- Relevant experience in designing for corporate, investment, or multi-brand environments and a portfolio demonstrating web and digital design work.
