Role Description The New Product Development & Business Growth Manager will lead end-to-end development of new packaging products, from concept and market research to pilot trials and commercial launch. This full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot involves closely collaborating with production, sales, and design teams to identify market needs, define product specifications, and ensure timely execution.

Responsibilities include analyzing customer requirements, exploring biodegradable and sustainable options, optimizing product portfolios, and improving existing packaging solutions for performance and cost-efficiency. The role also focuses on business growth through lead generation, client presentations, key account management,



and identifying new industry segments and geographic markets. The Manager will monitor performance metrics, prepare business reports, and support strategic decisions to strengthen Lexa Bio Plast’s market position.

Qualifications

- Product development and innovation skills, including experience in packaging design, material selection, and managing prototype to launch processes.
- Market research and business analysis capabilities to assess customer needs, study competitors, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Client relationship management skills, covering key account handling, negotiation, and solution-based consultative selling.
- Operational coordination skills to work with production, procurement, and quality teams on feasibility, timelines, and cost optimization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical and business concepts clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with basic business productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM or ERP systems) for planning and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, packaging technology, business, or a related field; advanced qualifications in marketing or operations are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in packaging, plastics, or manufacturing industries, with exposure to sustainable and biodegradable product lines preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in office in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and drive cross-functional projects to completion.
