Role Description The Freelance Creative Copywriter will develop compelling and culturally resonant copy for Superfan.ng’s digital touchpoints, including app content, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media. Day-to-day tasks include brainstorming and scripting quiz content, writing short-form and long-form copy, adapting complex cultural concepts for diverse audiences, and collaborating with designers and product leads to ensure messaging is aligned with brand strategy. The role also involves refining tone of voice, performing light content editing, and meeting content deadlines within agile workflows.

This is a full-time remote role,

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Writing and Web Content Writing skills, with experience crafting clear, engaging copy for digital platforms.
- Candidates should possess advanced Creative Writing and Creativity Skills, with the ability to translate cultural themes into compelling narratives and interactive content.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with remote, cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with African languages, cultures, and traditions, or a strong interest in learning and researching these areas.
- Proven experience as a copywriter or content creator in edtech, media, entertainment, or related fields is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to feedback in a fast-moving, remote setting.
- Comfort with using online collaboration tools and basic understanding of content best practices for web and mobile products.
