Key Responsibilities

- Assist doctors and nursing staff in the initial assessment and management of emergency patients.

- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.

- Assist in patient triage, patient shifting, and emergency care activities under the supervision of the clinical team.

- Support emergency procedures, including CPR, wound dressing, and other interventions as per training and authorization.

- Ensure timely documentation of patient details, clinical observations, and emergency care provided.

- Coordinate with diagnostic, laboratory, radiology, admission, and inpatient departments for timely patient management.

- Assist in maintaining emergency equipment, crash carts, and essential medical supplies.

- Follow infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.

- Ensure prompt communication of any deterioration in a patient's condition to the treating doctor or nursing team.

- Support smooth patient flow and timely handover during shift changes.
