### Job Summary: The Cluster Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the credit portfolio and risk exposure across a designated cluster of branches or business units. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor credit policies, procedures, and strategies for the assigned cluster, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of credit analysts and officers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing credit culture.
- Oversee the comprehensive credit assessment, underwriting, and approval process for various loan products and customer segments within the cluster.
- Manage the overall credit portfolio quality of the cluster, identifying potential risks,



implementing proactive mitigation strategies, and ensuring timely resolution of problematic accounts.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, analyze credit trends, and prepare detailed reports on credit performance, risk exposure, and compliance for senior management.
- Collaborate closely with business development and sales teams to support recent business initiatives while ensuring credit quality and prudent risk-taking.
- Ensure strict adherence to all internal credit policies, external regulatory guidelines, and compliance standards (e.g., Basel Accords, local banking regulations).
- Participate in the development and implementation of debt recovery strategies for non-performing assets within the cluster, working with legal and recovery teams.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to branch managers and relationship officers on complex credit cases, structuring deals, and managing customer relationships effectively.
- Stay abreast of market conditions, industry trends, and economic indicators that may impact credit risk within the cluster and adjust strategies accordingly.
