Roles and responsibilities
- Carry out stage-wise and final inspection of heat exchangers and pressure vessels.
- Review drawings, ITPs, MQAP and customer specifications before fabrication starts.
- Verify WPS, PQR and welder qualifications as per ASME Sec IX.
- Coordinate and witness NDT (RT, UT, MPT, DPT), PMI, PWHT, and hydro/pneumatic tests.
- Handle third-party and client inspections (TPI, Aramco, EIL, etc.).
- Prepare inspection reports, NCRs and the final documentation
- Support corrective and preventive actions and internal and customer audits.
- Coordinate with production and design teams to resolve quality issues. Desired candidate profile
- 29 years of experience in QA/QC of static equipment fabrication.
- Robust knowledge of ASME Sec VIII Div 1, Sec IX, Sec V and TEMA.
- Good drawing reading and dimensional inspection skills.
- Working knowledge of welding processes (SAW, GTAW, SMAW) and NDT methods.
- Familiarity with materials such as CS, SS 304/316, Duplex and Inconel.
