About the Role
Austin Bazaar, a U.
S.-based online retailer of musical instruments, pro audio equipment, and accessories, is seeking a proactive and analytical Logistics Associate / Team Lead to support inbound and outbound logistics across warehouses, third-party logistics providers, and online marketplaces. You will help ensure orders are routed correctly, shipments move on time, inventory transfers are accurately recorded, and discrepancies are resolved. We need someone who takes ownership of an issue from identification through resolution, follows up consistently, and communicates clearly. As we introduce recent systems and technologies, you should be comfortable learning new tools, adapting to changing processes, and identifying practical ways to improve operations. Key Responsibilities
Outbound Logistics & Order Fulfillment
- Monitor daily order backlogs across sales channels and resolve fulfillment delays.
- Allocate and route orders across warehouses, 3PL partners, and marketplace fulfillment centers based on inventory availability, shipping costs, and service requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and fulfillment partners to ensure timely processing and dispatch.
- Investigate routing errors, shipment exceptions, cancellations, and fulfillment discrepancies.
- Reconcile shipped orders against sales orders, tracking information, and fulfillment records.
- Investigate returns and inventory adjustments,



maintaining accurate records across ERP, WMS, OMS, and marketplace platforms.
- Escalate unresolved issues promptly, with clear details, actions taken, and next steps. Inbound Logistics & Inventory Transfers
- Coordinate inbound shipments from vendors to warehouses, 3PL partners, and marketplace fulfillment centers.
- Track shipments and follow up on delays, delivery appointments, and receiving status.
- Resolve shortages, overages, receiving discrepancies, and documentation issues.
- Coordinate inventory replenishment and transfers between fulfillment locations.
- Reconcile quantities shipped, received, and recorded in inventory systems.
- Maintain accurate shipment documentation and transfer records. Reporting & Process Improvement
- Maintain logistics dashboards, trackers, and operational reports.
- Use Excel to analyze order, shipment, and inventory data and identify discrepancies.
- Track backlog volume, shipment performance, inventory transfers, reconciliation accuracy, and fulfillment efficiency.
- Identify recurring problems, investigate root causes, and recommend practical improvements.
- Document processes and follow through on corrective actions. Additional Responsibilities for Team Lead Candidates
- Coordinate daily priorities and allocate work across the team.
- Monitor completion, accuracy, and adherence to operational deadlines.
- Support team members in resolving exceptions and handling escalations.
- Train team members on systems, processes, and documentation standards.
- Keep the Logistics Manager informed of performance, unresolved issues, and operational risks. Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain operations, e-commerce fulfillment, inventory management, or order management.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong listening and reading comprehension. Assessment is mandatory.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation, and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), or inventory management platforms.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and follow issues through to resolution.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with shipment, order, and inventory data.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate delays or risks promptly.
- A proactive approach, reliable follow-up, and accountability for results.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across teams.
- Willingness to work the agreed shift aligned with U.
S. operations.
- For Team Lead consideration: demonstrated experience coordinating people or workflows, managing escalations,



and monitoring performance. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.
S. e-commerce operations.
- Familiarity with Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify, or similar marketplace channels.
- Experience coordinating with 3PL providers and multiple warehouses.
- Knowledge of marketplace fulfillment, including Amazon FBA and merchant-fulfilled orders.
- Experience in musical instruments or related e-commerce categories.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. Selection Process Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete assessments relevant to the role, including English proficiency. Interviews and assessments will evaluate communication, comprehension, operational knowledge, analytical ability, and problem-solving. Strong logistics experience does not replace the mandatory English proficiency requirement. Both are essential for success in this role. Background Verification & Onboarding Background verification begins after an offer is accepted and signed. Checks may include identity, address, education, employment history, and criminal record verification. Candidates should be prepared to provide clear scanned copies of applicable documents, including:
- PAN Card and Aadhaar Card.
- Address proof if the current address differs from Aadhaar.
- Joining letter from the previous employer.
- Relieving letter or resignation confirmation email.
- Last three salary slips or six months of bank statements showing salary credits.
