Job Description

- Accurately code patient records using established medical coding standards.
- Ensure all medical records are entered and maintained in the EMR system with precision.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with regulations.
- Regularly review and update codes to reflect any changes in medical procedures or guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis using coded data to support departmental operations.
- Provide support for audits and assist in the correction of any identified coding errors.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in medical coding and EMR systems.
