Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-volume short-form video content for Meta, Instagram and other digital platforms.
- Create performance marketing creatives designed around hooks, retention and conversion.
- Edit UGC, founder-led content, creator content, product demonstrations, testimonials and ad concepts.
- Build strong opening hooks within the first few seconds of a video.
- Improve watch time, retention and click-through potential through pacing, cuts, text, sound design and storytelling.
- Create multiple variations of the same creative for performance testing.
- Adapt videos based on campaign performance and audience behaviour.
- Work closely with the Growth & Marketing team to understand creative performance.
- Repurpose existing footage into multiple ad formats and creative angles.
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, product callouts and other relevant visual elements.
- Maintain consistency with MRUCHA's visual language while prioritising performance.
- Keep up with current short-form content and performance creative trends.




- Participate in creative ideation and contribute editing-led insights to improve future shoots.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver creatives within tight timelines. Ideal Candidate
- 2-5 years of experience in video editing, preferably in D2C, beauty, fashion, FMCG, advertising or performance marketing.
- Strong experience editing Reels, UGC and paid social ads.
- Excellent understanding of retention editing and consumer attention psychology.
- Strong command of Premiere Pro / After Effects / Cap Cut or equivalent tools.
- Good understanding of pacing, hooks, storytelling, sound design and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to understand performance metrics and use them to improve creative output.
- Solid sense of timing and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high content volumes.
- Portfolio demonstrating performance-oriented short-form content is mandatory.
