Greetings for the day We are scouting for an Engineer( Production Engineering & Documentation) to be associated with a furniture manufacturing brand based out in Mumbai. Job Title: Senior Engineer( Production Engineering & Documentation) Department/Group: Product Development

- Mumbai. The role requires valuable understanding of wood and board-based furniture construction, joinery, hardware and manufacturing processes, along with strong ownership, accuracy and timely delivery. The Engineer will coordinate with R&D; and occasionally visit the Palghar Factory to understand/verify product construction before finalizing production files. Production File Preparation
- Prepare complete production drawings, component details, BOMs, hardware details, joinery details and assembly information. Product & Construction Understanding
- Understand materials, board thicknesses, construction, joinery and hardware before preparing/releasing files. R&D; Team Coordination
- Coordinate with R&D; Engineers to understand prototype construction, clarify details and incorporate engineering changes into final files. Factory Verification
- Visit Palghar Factory when required to inspect the product/prototype, verify construction and discuss technical details with R&D.; Accuracy & Documentation
- Self-check drawings and BOMs before release and maintain proper drawing revisions and updated production files. Timeline & Ownership




- Take complete responsibility for assigned files and ensure they are completed accurately and within committed timelines without repeated follow-ups. Follow-up & Closure
- Proactively identify missing information, coordinate with concerned teams and ensure queries are closed without delaying file release. Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
- Furniture Knowledge: Experience in wood/board-based furniture including particle board, MDF, plywood and basic solid-wood construction.
- Furniture Engineering: Understanding of furniture construction, joinery, KD fittings and hardware.
- Production Documentation: Experience preparing production drawings, BOMs, component details and assembly information.
- Software: Proficiency in Pytha, AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks. Willing to Learn Pytha
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Basic understanding of cutting, CNC, edge banding, lamination/veneering and furniture assembly.
- Execution: Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate files within timelines.
- Ownership: Responsible, organized and proactive; should be able to independently (work under senior engineer in case of Junior engineer) follow up and close assigned work.
- Coordination: Comfortable working with Design, R&D; and Factory teams. Good to Have
- PYTHA or similar furniture software.
- Experience working directly with a furniture manufacturing factory.
