responsibilities:
The Vice President Service will lead the overall service and after-sales operations of Varun Trucking. Ensuring the Service revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence across all service locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the annual service business plan aligned with company objectives.
- Drive growth in service revenue, labour sales, spare parts consumption, maintenance contracts, and extended warranty sales.
- Achieve service department revenue, gross margin, and operating profit targets.
- Lead service operations across all Varun Trucking workshops and service touchpoints in Andhra Pradesh.
- Ensure consistent service standards, operating procedures, and customer experience across locations.
- Monitor workshop productivity, technician efficiency, bay utilization, repair turnaround time, and workshop profitability.
- Ensure adherence to Bharat Benz and OEM service standards, warranty policies, and technical procedures.




- Monitor warranty claims, goodwill cases, technical escalations, and claim settlement timelines.
- Work closely with the spare parts team to ensure availability of fast-moving and critical parts.
- Improve parts fill rate, inventory turnover, and parts profitability.
- Reduce vehicle waiting time caused by parts shortages. Preferred candidate profile:
- Typically 20
- 25 years of experience in commercial vehicle after-sales service, automotive service operations, or dealership management.
- Significant experience managing multi-location workshops.
- Solid understanding of OEM warranty processes, technical diagnostics, spare parts management, and dealer management systems.
