Role & responsibilities Ensure timely compliance with Direct Taxation requirements, including TDS calculations, deductions, payments and return filings. Handle Advance Tax calculations, payments and periodic reconciliations. Prepare and file TDS returns and Income Tax Returns (ITR) within prescribed deadlines. Maintain statutory records, tax documentation and supporting schedules for audit and compliance purposes. Handle Income Tax notices, assessments and departmental queries in coordination with tax consultants. Monitor changes in Income Tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with applicable provisions. Verify GST reconciliations and input tax credit (ITC) records wherever required. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports related to taxation, TDS and statutory compliance. Support internal and statutory audits by providing accurate tax records, reconciliations and required documentation. Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants to resolve tax-related discrepancies and ensure timely compliance. Preferred candidate profile




- Bachelors degree in commerce, Accounting or a related field (CA/ACMA/ICWA certification a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Taxation or a similar role within a reputable organization.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting principles and practices, particularly related to accounts payable.
- Proven experience in processing and reconciling supplier invoices using accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with vendors.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
