Lead and oversee end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics operations for automotive manufacturing, ensuring seamless material flow from suppliers to manufacturing facilities and finished vehicle movement from plant to dealerships, distributors and customers. Drive logistics excellence through strategic planning, transportation optimisation, 3PL management, warehouse operations, cost efficiency, delivery performance and digitalisation while ensuring uninterrupted production and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
A. Inbound Logistics Management
- Lead end-to-end inbound logistics operations, ensuring timely movement of raw materials, components, CKD/SKD kits and production supplies from domestic and international suppliers.
- Develop inbound logistics strategies aligned with production plans, supplier schedules and inventory requirements.
- Manage supplier logistics, material collection, transportation planning and delivery schedules.
- Implement Milk Run, Just-in-Time (JIT), Just-in-Sequence (JIS) and direct-to-line material delivery systems.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance, transportation lead times and material shortages.
- Coordinate with procurement, supplier quality, production planning and manufacturing teams.
- Manage import logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding and international shipment coordination wherever applicable. B. Outbound Logistics Management
- Lead finished vehicle outbound logistics from manufacturing plant to dealerships, distributors and customers.
- Develop vehicle dispatch strategies,



transportation plans and distribution networks.
- Manage carrier allocation, vehicle transportation, shipment tracking and delivery schedules.
- Ensure vehicle handling, loading, unloading and transit quality to prevent transportation-related damages.
- Monitor dealer delivery commitments and customer delivery timelines.
- Manage export logistics, port operations, documentation and international vehicle shipments wherever applicable.
- Establish transportation SLAs and performance standards for logistics partners. C. Transportation & 3PL Management
- Lead logistics service providers, transporters, freight forwarders and third-party logistics partners.
- Develop strategic partnerships, vendor empanelment and contract negotiations.
- Drive transportation cost optimisation through route planning, vehicle utilisation, load consolidation and freight benchmarking.
- Monitor transporter performance through defined SLAs, KPIs and periodic performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, vehicle fitness, insurance and transportation safety standards. D. Warehouse & Distribution Management
- Oversee central warehouses, external warehouses, distribution centres and logistics hubs.
- Ensure effective inventory movement, storage, dispatch and material traceability.
- Optimise warehouse space, material handling equipment, manpower deployment and operational productivity.
- Implement FIFO, barcode/RFID tracking, WMS and inventory control mechanisms.
- Establish standard operating procedures for warehouse and distribution operations.
