Chennai Company: Alstom Job Summary Could you be the full-time Project Manager Services in Chennai were looking for Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates. You'll play a key role in driving the execution of projects with low criticality, ensuring contractual requirements and customer expectations are met while optimizing financial performance. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Project Core Team, Customer Director, Support Functions), define project strategies, and lead project activities from transfer to close-out, and much more. Youll specifically take care of project governance and stakeholder coordination, but also ensure compliance with applicable standards and proactively manage risks and opportunities. - Owning the Project Management Work Package (WP) and being accountable for project Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) performance.
- Defining project strategies and aligning objectives with contract requirements.
- Leading and coordinating project activities and stakeholders, including resource management and team leadership.




- Ensuring alignment with customer contractual requirements and managing variation orders.
- Proactively managing risks, savings, and opportunities to optimize project outcomes.
- Representing the project to Alstom management and external stakeholders with transparency and professionalism. All About You We value passion and attitude over experience. - Masters degree or bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- 5 years of experience as a sub-system/component manager, qualified project manager, or manager of an operational scope, with a total of at least 15 years of professional experience in Rolling Stock (RS).
- Experience working in and with multinational companies and across diverse business cultures.
- Knowledge of project management processes and railway products and systems.
- Robust skills in team management, communication, and negotiation.
- Leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and a results-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with Alstoms way of working for efficient process execution is a plus.
