Location:
Thane, Maharashtra Job Purpose: To diagnose, repair, maintain and service vehicles efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship, customer satisfaction and adherence to company and manufacturer standards. The Senior Technician will also guide junior technicians and support the workshop team in achieving service targets. 3.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Handle engine, transmission, suspension, braking, steering and AC-related repairs.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
- Ensure quality checks before delivering vehicles to the service advisor.
- Guide, train and supervise junior technicians and helpers.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workshop safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
- Complete assigned jobs within the estimated turnaround time (TAT).
- Maintain accurate job cards, repair records and technical reports.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Workshop Managers and Spare Parts teams.
- Minimise repeat repairs and maintain high first-time repair quality. 4. Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant technical certification will be an added advantage.




- Good knowledge of automobile systems and modern vehicle technology. 5. Experience Required
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in an automobile workshop.
- Experience in an authorised automobile dealership preferred.
- Hands-on experience in vehicle diagnosis, servicing and major repairs.
- Experience in handling and guiding junior technicians. 6. Required Skills
- Strong mechanical and technical knowledge.
- Expertise in vehicle troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of diagnostic scanners and special service tools.
- Team handling and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Time management and quality orientation.
- Positive communication and coordination skills. 7. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- First Time Fix (FTF) Rate.

- Vehicle Repair Quality.
- Minimum Repeat Repair Percentage.

- Junior Technician Training and Development. 8. Preferred Candidate Profile
- Should be technically strong and hands-on.
- Should have experience working with reputed automobile brands.
- Should be capable of independently diagnosing complex vehicle problems.
- Should be a team player with leadership qualities.
