Role & responsibilities The Purchase Manager will primarily own India operations and also support on US operations. You will buy regular supplies, materials and services, procure equipment and fittings for new outlets, build and manage a solid supplier base, and keep orders, costs and deliveries under control. You will work closely with outlet and operations/chefs teams to make sure nothing runs short and quality stays consistent. Routine purchasing
- Source and buy ingredients, packaging, consumables, and services.
- Ensure purchases meet the right quality, price, and time. New outlet procurement
- Track outlet requirements for each new opening.
- Coordinate purchases of equipment, furniture, fixtures, and setup items.
- Ensure purchases meet opening timelines and budgets. Suppliers and contracts
- Evaluate and onboard suppliers, including quality and FSSAI checks.
- Negotiate pricing, service levels, payment terms, and contract conditions.
- Obtain founder approval for key contracts.
- Manage renewals and supplier relationships.
- Keep alternate suppliers for critical items.
- Follow an approval matrix and compare quotes above a set value.

- Forecast needs with outlet teams.
- Track price movements and monitor budgets and food cost.
- Prevent overstocking, wastage, or shortages. Delivery and quality
- Track orders, delivery timelines, and product quality.
- Resolve delays, defects, and replacements with outlet and operations teams. Invoices and payments
- Verify purchase orders, invoices, and GST documents.
- Work with Finance to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments. Preferred candidate profile
- 58 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in restaurants, QSR, F&B;, hospitality.
- Proven skill in supplier sourcing, price negotiation, suppliers contract and payment-term management.
- Experience in demand forecasting, order planning and inventory control to avoid overstocking and shortages.
- Working knowledge of GST, purchase orders, invoicing and vendor payment processes.
- Good command of Excel and comfort with purchase or inventory software.
- Graduate degree required; MBA or a supply chain qualification preferre
