Hyderabad Department: 2D Animation / Pre-Production Job Summary We are seeking a talented 2D Location Concept Artist to create visually engaging environments and location concepts for animated productions. The candidate should have strong setting-design and drawing skills and be comfortable using AI-assisted workflows to explore compositions, develop visual references, and speed up concept creation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and illustrate environments, locations, backgrounds, and establishing shots for animation projects.
- Create concepts for indoor and outdoor settings, including landscapes, cities, villages, buildings, and fantasy environments.
- Use AI tools to explore environment ideas, generate references, and develop different visual directions.
- Refine and finalize AI-assisted concepts using Photoshop and other illustration software.
- Apply knowledge of perspective, composition, lighting, color theory, depth, and environmental storytelling.
- Maintain consistency in art style, mood, color palettes, and visual continuity across scenes.




- Collaborate with art directors, storyboard artists, character designers, and animation teams.
- Revise artwork based on feedback and ensure that designs align with the projects creative vision.
- Prepare and organize final concept artwork for handoff to the background and production teams. Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong environment-design, drawing, painting, and digital illustration skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and digital illustration software.
- Familiarity with AI image-generation and AI-assisted concept-design tools.
- Good understanding of perspective, composition, lighting, color, scale, and spatial depth.
- Ability to create visually clear and production-friendly location concepts.
- Strong observation skills and the ability to work from references and creative briefs.
