Key Responsibilities
Export-Import Operations
- Manage export, import, and re-import logistics activities.
- Coordinate shipment planning, execution, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international trade regulations.
- Handle customs clearance activities through agents and logistics partners.
- Support sales and operations teams with shipment planning and execution. Logistics Coordination
- Monitor and execute logistics operations in coordination with internal teams, transporters, agents, and customers.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer shipments.
- Coordinate dispatch schedules with manufacturing units and sales teams.
- Manage inter-company transportation and logistics movements. Vendor & Transport Management
- Evaluate logistics partners based on cost, service quality, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
- Negotiate freight rates, transportation contracts, and service agreements.
- Monitor transporter performance and implement improvement initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure service excellence and cost optimization. Cost Optimization & Performance Improvement
- Drive export logistics cost-saving initiatives.




- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Analyze logistics costs and recommend cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Evaluate the financial impact of logistics changes, routing, carriers, and shipping methods. Customer Service & Issue Resolution
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by minimizing logistics-related complaints.
- Resolve transportation, customs, logistics, and customer service issues promptly.
- Support the sales team in selecting the most suitable Incoterms based on cost and delivery requirements. Financial Coordination
- Coordinate timely vendor payment processing with Accounts and Finance teams.
- Ensure timely accounting and verification of logistics vendor invoices.
- Manage freight, transport, and FOB-related payments across all locations. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to logistics, transportation, and customs regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to vendors, customs, transportation, and warehousing operations.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of On-Time Dispatch (OTD) targets.
- Reduction in logistics and transportation costs.
- Zero customer complaints related to logistics operations.
- Timely execution of planned dispatches.
