Continuous Improvement Job Profile: The incumbent will be responsible for the following Purchase related activities: 1. Material Availability




- Ensuring uninterrupted material availability for plant and service requirements through TOC process.
- Monitoring Buffer Penetration Report and driving actions for Red & Black items.
- Ensuring timely delivery of MTO items and implementing POOGI improvements. 2. Alternate Vendor Development
- Identifying, evaluating, onboarding and developing alternate vendors following SEM process.
- Building reliable supplier base aligned with automotive practices and engineering standards. 3. Bottom-Up Costing & Price Finalization
- Performing detailed cost analysis during price finalization.
- Tracking commodity trends and assessing fabrication costs, machine hour rates and labor costs across sourcing regions. 4. Cost Reduction
- Identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities through supplier negotiations, alternate sourcing, value engineering and PHR implementation. 5. Supplier Performance & Reliability
- Ensuring supplier adherence to delivery commitments, quality standards and engineering requirements.
- Continuously improve supplier performance. 6. Organizational Imperatives
- Driving ongoing improvements in procurement and material planning processes to enhance availability and reduce lead times.
