To support the growth of our semiconductor Probe Card business in South India, we are looking for a Product & Service Engineer to be based in Bengaluru, India. The role combines product design and development with customer-facing technical support, Wafer Probe Card maintenance, troubleshooting and business development. Your Tasks: Product Design & Engineering
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and develop conceptual and preliminary designs.
- Work closely with customers to understand product requirements and finalise design specifications.
- Perform simulations to determine suitable design parameters that meet customer requirements.
- Prepare reverse-engineering drawings and develop customised mechanical jigs and fixtures, including recommending improvements to existing designs.
- Prepare engineering documentation to support quotations and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with Germany Headquarters and internal and external stakeholders on product development, technical alignment and product costing. Customer Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide scheduled on-site technical support at customer facilities.
- Support customers with Wafer Probe Card troubleshooting, application issues and technical problem resolution.




- Perform Probe Card maintenance and coordinate repair activities with technicians.
- Monitor and report the status of Probe Card repairs and troubleshooting activities.
- Conduct current product training for customers and provide ongoing technical guidance. Customer Relationship & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to identify opportunities for new business and sales growth.
- Communicate with customers on technical requirements, product applications and service-related matters.
- Coordinate with internal management on customer service matters and technical support priorities. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Participate in regular meetings with Germany Headquarters to discuss projects, technical matters and process alignment.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and customer satisfaction.

Your Profile
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor testing or PCB/PCBA testing industry
- Good knowledge of Wafer Probe Cards is mandatory
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Knowledge of product design and development will be an added advantage
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a confident and professional manner
- Proactive, self-motivated and committed, with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Good command of written and spoken business English
- Willingness to travel for customer support and business needs
