Role Definition : The Jr. Technician is responsible for carrying out electronic assembly, SMD and through-hole soldering, basic PCB rework, mechanical drilling, inspection, testing assistance, and quality documentation. The technician shall ensure workmanship quality, adherence to safety procedures, proper handling of tools and components, and timely completion of assigned production activities under the supervision of the Manufacturing or QC Engineer. Responsibility Deliverable : Accurate soldering and assembly of SMD and through-hole electronic components. PCB assembly, component replacement, and basic rework as per instructions. Correct identification and handling of electronic components. Drilling and other basic mechanical operations as per drawings and specified dimensions. Completion and maintenance of QC inspection reports, checklists, production records, and other required documents. Tasks Activities : Electronics Manufacturing
- Perform SMD and through-hole component soldering on PCBs.
- Identify resistors, capacitors, diodes, LEDs, transistors, inductors, connectors, and integrated circuits.
- Read component markings, polarity, PCB references, and assembly instructions.




- Perform basic desoldering, component replacement, and PCB rework.
- Perform drilling operations using the specified drill machine, bits, and fixtures. Quality Control Documentation
- Perform visual inspection of PCB assemblies and finished products.
- Assist with continuity checks, resistance measurements, voltage measurements, and other basic electrical tests. Record inspection results accurately in QC formats, checklists, and test reports. Measurement Metrics :
- Soldering quality: Percentage of assemblies accepted without soldering defects.
- First-pass yield: Percentage of assigned assemblies passing inspection on the first attempt.
- Documentation accuracy: Completeness and correctness of QC records.
