Job Overview Purple Leaf is looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager who can independently manage the complete hotel operations, drive business growth, improve profitability and establish strong systems across all departments. The ideal candidate should have strong operational, financial, commercial and leadership capabilities, with the ability to run the property smoothly with minimal dependence on the Owner. Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Overall Operations: Independently manage all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B;, Kitchen, Bar, Banquet, Engineering and Security.
- F&B; & Banquet: Strong practical knowledge of restaurant, food, bar, beverage and banquet operations.
- Front Office & Revenue Management: Manage room inventory, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, reservations and revenue optimisation.
- Budgeting & Finance: Handle budgeting, P&L;, cash flow, cost control, financial reporting and profitability.
- Sales & Business Development: Drive corporate sales, room bookings, banquet events, restaurant business and recent revenue opportunities.
- Marketing: Plan and execute online and offline marketing strategies, including Meta Ads, Google Ads, social media and promotional campaigns.
- HR & Team Management: Manage hiring, manpower planning, department heads, employee performance, KRAs, KPIs and HR policies.
- SOPs & Systems: Develop and implement departmental SOPs, operational standards, reporting systems and accountability processes.
- Purchase & Vendor Management: Handle procurement, vendor negotiations, inventory, stock control and cost efficiency.
- Leadership & Decision Making:



Take independent business decisions, solve operational challenges and ensure smooth overall functioning of the property. Required Experience & Skills
- 10–15 years of experience in the Hotel / Hospitality industry.
- Previous experience as General Manager, AGM or senior Hotel Operations Head preferred.
- Strong knowledge of F&B;, both Bar and Restaurant operations, and Banquet Management is mandatory.
- Good understanding of Front Office and Hotel Revenue Management.
- Practical experience in budgeting, P&L; and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of sales, marketing and business development.
- Experience in HR management, hiring, SOPs, KRAs and KPIs.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage all departments independently and take complete business ownership. Additional Preferred Skills
- Practical knowledge of AI tools for business operations and productivity.
- Understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads and digital marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with Hotel PMS, POS, CRM and automation tools. Ideal Candidate We are looking for a complete hospitality business leader, not just an operations manager. The candidate must be capable of independently handling the entire property—from operations, sales, marketing, finance and HR to vendor management, cash flow and profitability. The person should take ownership, make independent decisions, build effective systems and ensure that the business runs smoothly without constant intervention from the Owner. Pay: ₹40,000.00
