Mundra Ideal Candidate A strong, hands-on Quality leader who combines technical knowledge with deep shop-floor experience and can independently take ownership of incoming, in-process and final quality. The ideal candidate should be capable of walking onto the shop floor, identifying a quality problem, understanding its root cause, working with Production to correct it, implementing preventive action and ensuring that the same defect does not recur. He should be a strong bridge between Quality, Production, Engineering, Procurement, Projects and Customers. For this position, practical manufacturing/fabrication experience, technical competence, leadership ability and customer-handling capability should be given greater weight than academic qualification alone. 5-13years of strong relevant experience in manufacturing / fabrication / engineering plants. Proven experience leading QC/QA activities in a manufacturing environment. Solid hands-on knowledge of fabrication, inspection, testing and quality systems. For Diploma – Mechanical Diploma – Mechanical Engineering. 5–13 years of strong relevant experience in manufacturing / fabrication / engineering plants. Strong practical and shop-floor knowledge with demonstrated ability to independently lead quality activities. Proven experience in managing QC teams and customer / third-party inspections will be preferred. Experience in any of the following will be highly relevant: FRP / GRP / Composite manufacturing Process equipment manufacturing Industrial fabrication Piping fabrication Chemical / petrochemical equipment Water / wastewater equipment Tanks and vessels Engineering project manufacturing
