New Delhi Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 5-8 Years Industry Preference: Flexible Packaging Industry Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Executive Purchase with 5-8 years of relevant experience in procurement within the Flexible Packaging Industry. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in purchasing Raw Materials (RM) and Engineering items, vendor development, price negotiations, cost optimization, and end-to-end procurement management. The ideal candidate should be capable of ensuring timely availability of materials while maintaining quality standards and optimizing procurement costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for Raw Materials and Engineering materials.
- Handle purchasing of flexible packaging materials and related consumables as per production and operational requirements.
- Develop, identify, and maintain reliable vendor and supplier networks.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Evaluate vendor quotations based on quality, cost, specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Stores, Quality, and Finance departments to ensure timely procurement.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure adherence to approved procurement processes.
- Monitor market trends, material prices, and supplier performance.
- Drive cost optimization through strategic sourcing and effective vendor negotiations.




- Ensure timely material availability and avoid production interruptions due to procurement delays.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, MIS reports, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment.
- Resolve vendor-related issues concerning quality, pricing, and delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 58 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Mandatory experience in the Flexible Packaging Industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in Raw Material (RM) and Engineering procurement.
- Valuable understanding of flexible packaging raw materials, engineering requirements, and procurement processes.
- Strong vendor development, negotiation, and cost-control skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in preparing MIS reports.
- Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple procurement activities and priorities.
