Mechanical Designer Department Engineering / Mechanical Design Experience 2-7 years in mechanical design and engineering Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer to lead mechanical design activities from concept development through detailed engineering, manufacturing, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Develop concepts, layouts, 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings. mechanical designs, drawings, BOMs, and design documentation. Perform design calculations, material selection, and component selection where required. Ensure designs meet project specifications, customer requirements, applicable codes, and engineering standards. Coordinate with manufacturing, fabrication, procurement, quality, and project teams to resolve design-related issues. Conduct design reviews and identify opportunities for cost, weight, manufacturability, and performance improvements. Manage design changes, revisions, and engineering documentation. Support prototype development, testing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Required Technical Skills Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design practices. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, Inventor, or relevant CAD software. Experience with 3D modeling,



assemblies, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing drawings. Knowledge of materials, fabrication, machining, welding, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes. Understanding of mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, gears, couplings, fasteners, actuators, and structural components. Ability to interpret engineering specifications, standards, and technical drawings. Working knowledge of relevant ASME / ISO / DIN standards as applicable to the industry. Experience with BOM management, engineering change processes, and PLM/PDM systems is desirable. Education Bachelors degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Industrial machinery / equipment Automation systems Heavy engineering Process equipment Automotive / transportation equipment Plant engineering Special-purpose machines Key Performance Indicators On-time completion of design deliverables Design quality and accuracy Reduction in design errors and rework Manufacturability and cost optimization Compliance with engineering standards Effective team development and project coordination
