Role Description The Hairstylist role at RKC Education and Workforce Solutions is a full time, on-site position based in Kotagiri. The Hairstylist will provide professional hair care services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments suited to clients’ preferences and hair types. Daily responsibilities include consulting with clients,



recommending suitable hairstyles and hair care products, maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation, and ensuring tools and equipment are properly sanitized. The role also involves delivering a welcoming customer experience, managing appointment schedules, and working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high service standards. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling and Hair Care skills, including cutting, coloring, and treatment techniques for diverse hair types.
- Candidates should possess Cosmetology knowledge, including basic scalp care, product usage, and an understanding of safety and hygiene standards.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to consult with clients, understand their needs, and provide clear professional recommendations.
- Relevant certification or diploma in cosmetology or hairdressing from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Previous experience working as a hairstylist or in a salon environment is an advantage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple appointments, and maintain a professional, inclusive, and respectful attitude toward all clients.
