Job Description
We are hiring an Associate – Securities Settlements with hands-on experience in Fixed Income, Bonds and Repo settlements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of securities settlement processes, trade matching, reconciliation and investigation of settlement breaks.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end settlement of Repo and Bonds transactions.
- Ensure timely trade instruction, matching and settlement.
- Perform daily trade pre-matching and monitor pending/failed settlements.
- Investigate and resolve Nostro and Depot reconciliation breaks.
- Identify settlement discrepancies and coordinate with custodians, brokers and counterparties for resolution.
- Monitor settlement failures and take corrective actions to minimize potential fails.




- Handle cash management and funding requirements related to trades.
- Investigate accounting and securities reconciliation breaks.
- Escalate operational risks and settlement issues within defined timelines.
- Maintain compliance with operational procedures and risk management guidelines. Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Fixed Income / Bonds / Repo Settlements.
- Good understanding of Securities Settlement Operations.
- Experience in Nostro and Depot Reconciliation.
- Knowledge of Trade Matching, Pre-matching and Settlement Failures.
- Experience in break investigation and resolution.
- Understanding of financial markets and securities products.
- Knowledge of Calypso is an added advantage.
- Positive analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
