Job Description
LogicHive is currently recruiting an experienced Data Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Database Configuration and Implementation . We are looking for a technically strong professional experienced in database infrastructure setup, configuration, deployment, optimization, and operational support. The ideal candidate will ensure the availability, reliability, security, and performance of enterprise database environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain database infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
- Configure database connectivity, networking, access controls, and security settings.
- Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and performance.
- Implement backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot database configuration issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
- Support high-availability and fault-tolerant database architectures.
- Automate routine database administration and infrastructure tasks.




- Collaborate with application, cloud, infrastructure, and data engineering teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in database infrastructure, database administration, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with database installation, configuration, and implementation.
- Experience with one or more database platforms such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or cloud-managed databases.
- Solid knowledge of database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience with backup, recovery, replication, and high availability.
- Understanding of database security, user management, and access controls.
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows server environments and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or shell scripting. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP database services.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with database monitoring, capacity planning, and disaster recovery testing.
- Knowledge of containerized database deployments or Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
