Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welding Engineer role based in Padgha near Bhiwandi . The Welding Engineer will design and optimize welding processes, including laser and arc welding, to meet project specifications and production targets. Daily responsibilities include preparing welding procedures, selecting appropriate materials and techniques, supervising welding operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves conducting welding inspections, analyzing defects, recommending corrective actions, and collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve weld integrity and efficiency. The Welding Engineer will also maintain documentation,



support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to training and guidance for welding personnel.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in welding processes, including Laser Welding and Arc Welding, with practical experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of Welding Inspection and Quality Control techniques to evaluate welds, identify defects, and ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
Understanding of Metallurgy, including material properties, heat treatment effects, and weldability of metals and alloys.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with relevant welding codes and standards (such as ASME, AWS, or ISO) and basic knowledge of non-destructive testing methods.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols, with robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety, continuous improvement, and in office collaboration.
Skilled certifications in welding engineering or inspection (e.g., CSWIP, AWS CWI) are an advantage.
