Key responsibilities
Create electrical drawings: Draft and update a variety of electrical diagrams, including power and lighting plans, control wiring, and electrical site plans.
Use CAD software: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, to create exact 2D and 3D models and schematics.
Collaborate with engineers: Work closely with electrical engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
Maintain records: Keep accurate records of design changes and resolve any design issues that arise.
Understand electrical principles: Apply knowledge of electrical concepts, like power, voltage, and current, as well as safety standards and codes.

Required skills and knowledge
Technical drawing:



Proficiency in technical drawing and an understanding of electrical systems.
CAD software: Expertise in using CAD software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks is crucial.
Electrical knowledge: A strong grasp of electrical principles and components is essential.
Detail-oriented: A high level of precision is necessary to avoid errors in potentially complex systems.
