Hiring: Linux System Software Performance Engineer | 8–10 Years Experience
We are looking for an experienced Linux System Software Performance Engineer with strong expertise in Linux performance measurement, kernel tracing, real-time latency analysis, and system-level performance optimization across bare-metal and virtualized environments.
Experience: 8–10 years
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end performance measurement across Linux system software stacks.
Collect traces, triage performance issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
Identify and quantify system bottlenecks impacting performance KPIs.
Analyze hard real-time latency, interrupt latency, scheduler latency, wake-up latency, jitter, and determinism.
Correlate real-time performance violations with Linux kernel and device-driver paths.
Measure and analyze performance differences between hypervisor/virtualized and bare-metal environments.
Perform subsystem-level performance analysis across:
CPU and vCPU scheduling
GPU
NPU
Memory bandwidth and latency
Storage/I/O
Network
