Role and Responsibilities

Electrical Design Engineers are responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and refining electrical systems across industries such as aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, energy, and industrial machinery Key responsibilities include:
Creating design specifications for electrical and electromechanical components, including magnetic field analysis and modeling of electromagnetic systems
Translating customer requirements into cost-effective, manufacturable designs.
Developing prototypes, test plans, and reports to ensure products meet specifications.
Using CAD and simulation software to model, test, and optimize designs
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory codes.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and clients, to integrate electrical solutions seamlessly




Supporting existing designs post-launch and adapting them for recent applications

Skills and Qualifications

To become an Electrical Design Engineer, candidates typically need:
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; some positions may accept architectural or computer design engineering backgrounds
Proficiency in circuit theory, control systems, power distribution, and electromagnetic principles.
Experience with design software such as Altium Designer, CAD tools, and simulation platforms
Solid problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to work with clients and internal teams
Knowledge of safety standards, testing procedures, and documentation practices.
