Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Associate – M&A; with experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and Transaction Tax Advisory. The candidate will be responsible for supporting clients on M&A; transactions, tax structuring, due diligence and transaction-related advisory assignments.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in executing M&A; transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, business restructuring and reorganisations.
Provide transaction tax advisory support on domestic and cross-border transactions.
Conduct tax due diligence to identify potential tax exposures, risks and opportunities.
Analyse tax implications of proposed mergers, acquisitions and business restructuring transactions.
Assist in evaluating tax-efficient transaction structures and provide recommendations.
Undertake detailed analysis of Direct Tax implications arising from M&A; transactions.
Support preparation of tax advisory reports, presentations, proposals and client deliverables.
Conduct research on applicable tax laws,



regulatory requirements and relevant judicial pronouncements.
Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely execution of transaction assignments.
Assist senior team members in identifying tax risks and providing practical solutions to clients.

Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in M&A; and Transaction Tax Advisory.
Experience in a Big 4, reputed CA firm or consulting/advisory organisation preferred.
Valuable understanding of M&A; transactions, tax due diligence and transaction structuring.
Exposure to Direct Tax and tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.
Robust analytical, research, communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and work in a client-facing workplace.

Preferred Experience: Candidates with hands-on experience in Transaction Tax Advisory and M&A; engagements will be preferred.
