Antidote Cafe is a creative, moody, community-first cafe in New BEL Road, North Bangalore. We’re known for slow mornings, cold brews, coffee mocktails, pastries, and a space where regulars become friends. Our kitchen is small, busy, and built around handmade food: tarts, quiches, pancakes, croissant sandwiches, and speciality coffee.

Responsibilities
Run daily kitchen operations, prep, and service
Maintain consistent taste, portioning, and presentation for tarts, quiches, pancakes, croissant sandwiches, and specials
Develop seasonal menu items with costed recipes
Manage ordering, inventory, wastage, and food cost
Train, schedule, and coach Commis I and II
Enforce FSSAI-standard hygiene, allergen labelling, and secure storage
Work with the cafe manager on events, pop-ups, and specials

Requirements




3 - 5 years of experience in a cafe or small kitchen, with at least 2 years leading a team
Hands-on experience with pastry basics: pastry doughs, tart shells, quiche fillings, batters, laminated dough handling
Robust grasp of costing, stock control, and kitchen systems
Calm under pressure, with a valuable palate and an eye for plating
Comfortable with weekends, events, and late evenings

Nice to have: Baking or patisserie training, FSSAI food safety certificate, menu-development portfolio

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
