Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring daily bank transactions, updating entries in Tally, maintaining accurate Excel reports, and handling basic accounting procedures to ensure smooth financial workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Bank & Cash Monitoring
Track and monitor daily bank transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and electronic transfers across all company accounts.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to match bank statements with Tally records.
Manage daily cash flow logs and petty cash transactions.

Accounting & Tally Entry
Maintain up-to-date accounting records using Tally (Tally.ERP 9 / Tally Prime).
Pass daily accounting entries, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, journal entries, and debit/credit notes.
Ensure accurate categorization of expenses and revenue heads.

Reporting & MS Excel
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports in MS Excel.
Maintain trackers for accounts payable (vendors) and accounts receivable (customers).
Assist in generating basic financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and trial balances.

General Accounting & Compliance Support




Verify and process vendor invoices, expense claims, and bill payments.
Assist in gathering and organizing documentation for tax filings (GST, TDS, or general audits) as needed.
Maintain organized physical and digital records of all vouchers, invoices, and financial documents.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in basic accounting or bookkeeping.

Software Proficiency:
Solid working knowledge of Tally (Tally.ERP 9 / Tally Prime).
Positive command of MS Excel (working knowledge of formulas like VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables is preferred).

Skills:
Fundamental understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger, and accounting principles.
High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
